DESCRIPTION
The Huntress is a mixed media dimensional wall work: acrylic on a 1/2″ solid maple panel, mounted on a vintage shutter. Light and ember-red fields hold a cast of dimensional found elements, from a patina-rich face to deer antlers and a gilded crown, creating a story that feels discovered rather than invented. Turquoise slabs and cholla sharpen the Southwest accent, leaving the piece with myth, grit, and defiance. It reads like a relic, and the meaning shifts the longer you live with it.
