Built on a vintage steel-bound wood painter’s platform, the work centers on a reimagined horse head emerging from a luminous field of cerulean blue and gold, part portrait, part apparition. License plates fan outward like wings of the open road, each one a mile marker from somewhere worth remembering. Cholla, turquoise, driftwood and clay anchor the piece in the landscape that inspired it, while acrylic paint splattered across the platform frame carries the energy of movement, speed, and pure creative abandon.
Wild Roads doesn’t ask you to slow down. It asks you to remember what it felt like to floor it.
