2026 has officially kicked in, and I have entered full studio hermit mode. Happily.

My first real solo exhibit, Wild Relics, opens March 6th, with a private opening on February 28th in the Hagnauer Gallery in the Manitou Art Center. It’s a big, beautiful gallery, so I’m hunkered down building new work, including some larger pieces. Also, plot twist: I’m painting again. Most of this new body of work includes abstract painting layered into the builds, and I’ll be sharing peeks (and progress chaos) on social, so come follow along. (Links at bottom of this email)

February show alert: Purl will be in the Gratitude Exhibit at Auric Gallery, opening February 6th. If you’ve never seen her lit up and fully in her glory, this is your moment.

And I’m super excited to participate in ARTMA this year. I donated Ring Toss, and I’m really hoping it gets snapped up because 100% of the proceeds go to children’s cancer research. The gala is February 28, and I’ll be there.

As always, thank you for being part of this wild, creative ride with me. Your encouragement and support mean more than you know, it’s what keeps the studio lights on (and the coffee pot full). I’m beyond excited for what’s ahead and can’t wait to share more sneak peeks as new works come to life.

Until next time, stay curious, stay kind, and keep a little wonder in your pocket.
